Behind the Scenes
CG Integration
The scope that was used on the table needed to be un-branded, so we opted to create it with CGI rather than a physical prop. A physical oscilloscope would not only be expensive, but also heavy and dangerous when flying through the air. We left the space for the scope, modeled one in 3D, then tracked and animated it into place.

Special Effects
The challenge with flipping a table dramatically is that the items stick to the table as it rises, and either a quick stop or a little push was needed to launch the items off of the table to get the most visual interest in slow motion. We opted for the latter and our special effects team installed air-powered pistons that we could time with the table flip to launch the bins full of items off of the table as it flips in the air.

Since our table flip used human-power and air-pistons, our VFX team needed to remove the extra people and erase the holes in the table and lines for the heavier objects that were puppeteer during the table flip.
