Ultragenyx brought on Stratevi and Mass FX Media to help with the unique challenge of explaining a rare disease like X-Linked Hypophosphatemia to children and caregivers of children with the disease. Armed with a scientific paper, we created a metaphor and a cute character to help non-medical people understand what XLH is and what kind of outlook someone with XLH has.
